Tour Reservations Required

We require reservations so we can arrange for docents in advance and keep tour group sizes manageable.

February and March registrations are now closed due to capacity limits. Thank you for your interest. Please consider signing up for future tours.

Important

This is a steady and strenuous walk. The total distance is approximately 1.5 to 2 miles and includes some steps. Tours last from 1½ to 2 hours. Low-heeled shoes are advised. Tours are given rain or shine.

Parking

Tours begin at the entrance to the Athenaeum at 551 South Hill Avenue, on the corner of Hill Avenue and California Boulevard. The Athenaeum parking lot is reserved for members and guests of members only. Visitors are asked to park on Hill Ave. or California Blvd.
